Bach's ever-popular Concerto in E Major BWV 1042, here in an arrangement for string trio! This is the complete concerto, no cuts or simplifications.
As always with my concerto arrangements, you can use your own solo part as the violin part instead, if you prefer. The only exception in this arrangement is the 2nd movement: the violin is now playing in the first 6 bars as well as the last 6 bars (the solo violin has rests here) - if you are using your own part, please print out the violin part of the 2nd movement of this arrangement and use that, as there will otherwise be a gap in the harmony.
The viola part in this trio arrangement is pretty hardcore: it has a fair bit of passage work as well as occasional double stops, but, as always, I've made sure that the double stops sit well in the hand.
If you fancy a challenge (and a good opportunity to also run the Bach E Major in your gigs), this would be a really good addition to your trio pads.
