Bach's finest
O Mensch, bewein' dein' is the most beautiful of all Bach's music.

For Pipe Organ with Pedals
This largo piece should only be studied and played with the assistance of a qualified pipe organ instructor. It is not intended to be play on a keyboard, but only a pipe organ with foot pedals in the bass line. This score does not include the many appoggiaturas, mordents, and trill ornamentations that can only be taught by a qualified pipe organ instructor who has excellent knowledge of Bach's intentions. It's not possible to play this score correctly without professional assistance because many notes are not published and can only be played by professional organists.

Not a practical score
The melody above is intended to be played as a solo on another manual. The accompaniment is mostly 2 voices and should be scored together on the 2nd staff as it is played with the left hand. Most of the upper voice in the accompaniment is scored on the treble staff along with the solo voice, probably to avoid lots of ledger lines in the bass clef. But it makes it very difficult to read and separate out, especially when the the lines cross. I will be sure to study the sample closer to avoid buying poorly transcribed, useless scores.
