I absolutely love playing 'Baby Elephant Walk' by Henry Mancini! This intermediate (SMP Level 5) arrangement really captures the movie magic. It's a great challenge for me with the seventh chords and reading ledger lines, but it feels so rewarding when I get it right. It truly sounds like the original. A fun piece to unwind with and feel accomplished after a practice session!

Wonderful!!! Brings back warm memories of my childhood!!! Great study piece, easy to learn, but sounds great piece for children to enjoy in school or anywheres...This one piano sheet music piece is arranged from the orchestral one that Henry Mancini put together for the 1960's great African Adventure movie Hatari! This piece is full of FUN my wife loves it all the time, it's about what you'd imagine a Baby Elephant Walking or rather Running as is in the motion picture! It's got lot's of staccato notes so it's a great practice piece (look inside) It's not that hard to learn, HANDS SEPARATE ONLY AT FIRST! Sounds so cute & funny just like a little Baby Elephant:) You can still watch this movie on DVD or cable TV, it stars John Wayn The Duke, Hardy Kruger, Red Buttons, Elsa Martinelli, the Baby Elephant and many other wild life in an romantic/adventure movie about these people catching African animals for the Zoo's around the world....
