Away In A Manger (Tune 1) Concert Band Score and Parts PDF


This is a fairly straightforward arrangement of a carol by W. J. Kirkpatrick (1832-1921) that has been designed to give each instrument an interesting part to play with a number of different groups playing the melody and accompaniment. It should work well with a choir or congregational singing the traditional words. Parts for Eb and F Horns - Tubas in C, Eb, and Bb.  The Mp3 was recorded with NotePerformer.

I decided to arrange all the Christmas carols for my concert band after many years of playing the same-verse arrangement 4 or 5 times always with the flute, clarinet, and trumpet having the melody! Hope to upload my full collection soon. Any suggestions or comments welcome.
