This version of the beloved Christmas carol (set to the Mueller tune) adjusts the meter of the song from the usual 3/4 to 4/4, adding in an energetic flair. The chords in the second verse are also adjusted, providing a fresh look at the well-known melody, before reverting to "normal" again for the final verse where the sopranos sing a descant over the alto melody sure to provide thrills. Great for church choirs and community choruses looking for an upbeat entry in their holiday repertoire.
