a classic

Dating from the 14th century, the latin hymn, Ave Verum Corpus, is a song praising Jesus's real presence in the Eucharist. Badarak's setting is a simple, almost stark glimpse of God in our human world. Sonorous and profound, yet at the same time very present and immediate, Badarak's anthem is equally at home in Roman Catholic or Anglican settings of the Mass. It will become a classic in the Eucharistic choral repertoire.
