The Gigue is a lively Baroque dance in compound time. This fun Piano Solo is great for auditions, exams, or recitals as it shows your clean playing technique at Allegro tempo. It is only a single melodic line and begins played only by the Right Hand, then moves to the dominant key where the themes are replayed with Left Hand only. Mostly broken triads with some scalar passages and a few leaps. Several accidentals. Lays under the hands very nicely so no crazy fingering.
