These solos have plenty of charm and pizzazz. Though designed for students with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), students of all stripes enjoy learning these attractive solos. Along with attractive patterns that feel good in the hands, the infectious melodies and/or rhythms are easily learned and remembered. There are no "surprise" difficulties that can so easily trip up a student. Special music notation features include the elimination of measure numbers and unnecessary rests. There are no key signatures; accidentals are instead applied to the notes. Careful attention was given to layout and even details such as stem directions for ease of reading. Book One includes delightful duet accompaniments for each piece. These books are sure to motivate students.

Attention Grabbers Book 2
Love the arrangements in Book 2. Most of my students are not ready for this level yet. However, I have shown a couple older students how to play bits and pieces from the book and they love the sound. We especially like Mashed Potato Clouds. I love to sit and play through this book as well!

From happy and dreamy to rocking out, the Attention Grabbers book 2 is great for recitals! My favorite is Nightingale.

Excellent Pieces
Really great stuff. I wasn't sure when I bought it if my students would like it but they do. In fact, they love it. Super easy to teach and a hit with all the kids. Especially Mashed Potato Clouds and Brainstorm.

Fun & accessible!
This book is a great collection of melodically memorable pattern-based pieces that will suit students of all ages. The music feels fresh, modern, and well thought out from a pedagogical standpoint. My favorites in the collection are Pandora's Box, Brainstorm, and Rooftop Garden. These pieces are guaranteed hits with a wide array of students and will be easily taught to students no matter their preferred learning style. Great work Diane!

Attention Grabbers Book 2
This book fits the title...all the pieces will grab your attention! Students love these pieces. They sound so much harder than they are so the students love playing them in recitals. There is a good mix of melodic pieces vs. upbeat/rhythmic pieces in the book. I have used the pieces with very young students and because of the clarity of the score (it looks like how it feels) they can play them successfully rather quickly. My teenage students love the pop sound and catchy melodies. I would highly recommend this book!!
