The "Astuces sonores" is a cycle of 15 short pieces in which I wanted to approach musical and technical ideas rarely presented in a repertoire intended for teaching.
It is also, in a way, a synthesis and an introduction to the idioms that I use in my concert pieces.
The cycle is dedicated to Sylvain Lemay, a major player in the promotion of today’s guitar music, and who has supported my work for over 25 years with Éditions Doberman-Yppan / Productions d’OZ.
Les «Astuces sonores» sont un cycle de 15 courtes pièces dans lesquelles j’ai voulu aborder des idées musicales et techniques rarement présentées dans un répertoire à visée pédagogique.
C’est aussi, en quelques sorte, une synthèse et une introduction aux idiomes que j’utilise dans mes pièces de concerts.
Le cycle est dédié à Sylvain Lemay, acteur majeur de la promotion de la musique pour guitare d’aujourd’hui, et qui accompagne mon travail depuis plus de 25 ans avec les Éditions Doberman-Yppan / Productions d’OZ.
