This beautifully haunting Liebman original is a slow/moody jazz waltz, as arranged for Dave (soprano sax feature) and his big band by Pete. Much employment of mutes and woodwind doubles helps create certain orchestral colors reminiscent of Gil Evans and Maria Schneider. Doubles: Altos 1 & 2 on flute; Tenors 1 & @ on clarient; bari on bass clarinet. Tenor 2 may play soprano solo part, if no extra tenor player is available. There may be some mixed meter and a few unusual chords. Med diff.
