Bach's great monument to the Fugue has been newly transcribed in entirety for the first time by Ralph Sauer for 4-part Trombone Ensemble. The complete Collection comes in 4 volumes containing all of the Contrapuncti 1-15 including his last work, the Chorale, Vor Deinen Thron. Although playable by a quartet, the Fugues may be performed by a larger ensemble with the included optional divisi. Playable by advanced performers, any of these fugues chould be a major part of any Trombone recital/concert. This collection is perfect for libraries, and trombone departments.
