Brass Ensemble Euphonium,Horn,Trombone,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download
SKU: A0.990606
Composed by George W. Stratton. Arranged by Emmett Anglin. 20th Century,Folk,Holiday,Patriotic,Traditional. Score and parts. 36 pages. OTBM #3242891. Published by OTBM (A0.990606).
This was originally published by George Stratton in 1871 in New York City for Brass Band. The sextet arrangement makes it more accessible to smaller ensembles. The Stratton collection (which is printed) original resides in The Library of Congress in score form. A good high school ensemble could play it though I think a professional group might enjoy it. It is of Civil War vintage and is delightful to play and listen to. It would make a good encore piece for a brass recital.
This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global
self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular
titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
