A festive setting for SATB choir and organ of the Isaiah canticle appointed for the Feast of the Epiphany. Also a wonderful response to one of the optional readings in the traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols for Christmas. Appropriate throughout the Epiphany season, the text and setting well-reflect the imagery of Christ as "Light of the World." This piece gives both organist and choir some meaty passages and exploits the trumpet stop of the organ. Well worth the effort!
