Arietta for basset clarinet in A A Clarinet - Digital Sheet Music

Bassettclarinet in A - advanced - Digital Download

SKU: S9.Q6712

For basset clarinet in A. Composed by Aribert Reimann. This edition: Sheet music. Clarinet Library. Score. Duration 2 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q6712. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q6712).

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart originally composed his famous piano concerto for the deeper-toned basset clarinet. The famous clarinettist Sabine Meyer has faithfully performed Mozart's work for a long time. It was for her that Aribert Reimann wrote the current 'Arietta' as an encore which brings out impressively the characteristic timbre of the basset horn. Together with other clarinet works by Reimann, including the concert piece 'Cantus', the first recording with Jörg Widmann produced by the WDR is released on CD.
