"Arab-borescent Symmetry" is a piece for wind trio (Flute, Oboe, and Clarinet in Bb), based on an artwork titled "Arborescent symmetry" by Desmond Clarke, and it is composed as a part of "Three Winds", a project by "The Arc Project". While this artwork shows perfect symmetry for a growing tree, the music in this piece takes this symmetry. It transforms it into a more realistic one, reflecting how our balance is always disturbed by unwanted sounds, and how our consciousness grows to mirror our life events and the experiences we live. The music uses instruments and modern techniques to imitate elements of Arabic music, such as traditional rhythms and Maqamat, and sets a mood of a traditional Arabic countryside.
