What a fantastic piece! Michael Oare's "Apex Predator" brings such a cool, cinematic feel with its "haunting flute solo" and build-up of "intensity and majesty." As an adult learner in a community band, this Grade 2 piece is totally achievable yet feels incredibly rewarding to play. It’s well-scored for the ensemble, letting everyone contribute to that "apex predator" sound. Highly recommend!
