Angels We Have Heard On High tune GLORIA is arranged for 5 octave handbell choir of medium difficulty. Stanzas 1 and 2 are harmonized to match the Edward S. Barnes setting used in most hymnals, so the bell arrangement can be used with traditional singing of the congregational hymn. Stanza 3 changes it up with the melody singing like a lullaby over an ostinato fitting to the hymn text "Come to Bethlehem and see him whose birth the angels sing." The final stanza launches back into an energetic and robust setting of the tune.
