This is a lively arrangement of a Sacred Harp hymn tune containing considerable variation in texture. Some contrapuntal writing and use of ostinato figures in voice parts to accompany the melody. This will favor a choir that is able to be comfortable singing independent lines. A strong and vigorous approach is sought here. Fun for the choir and the listeners.
