Charles-Alexis Chauvet (1837-1871) was a French organist and composer.
A child prodigy on the organ, he entered the Paris Conservatoire at age 13, studying composition with Ambroise Thomas. He was considered one of the most brilliant composers for the organ, along with his friend César Franck. He died prematurely from tuberculosis at the age of 34.
Andantino is No.9 of his 20 Pieces for Organ, issued in 1896.
I have arranged it here for guitar duet, with the melody swapping between guitar 1 and guitar 2.
