Dit Andante Religioso is het langzame deel uit de vierde van de zes orgelsonates. Deze bewerkingvan Rolf Amstad bleef zo dicht mogelijk bij het origineel. Het is een zeer goed speelbaar werk, wat uitermate geschikt is om te spelen tijdens een kerkdienst. Ook is dit Andante Religioso zeer goed in te passen als rustpuntin uw concert.
Das Andante Religioso ist der langsame Teil der vierten von sechs Orgelsonaten, die der Komponist und Pianist Mendelssohn Bartholdy zwei Jahre vor seinem Tod komponierte. Die authentische Blasorchesterbearbeitung von Rolf Amstad ist sehr gut spielbar und damit ein langsames Stück für die Kirche und andere Anlasse für jedes Blasorchester.
Entre ao t 1844 et janvier 1845, Mendelssohn compose ses Six sonates pour orgue, Op. 65. Véritable compendium de l’art de jouer de l’orgue, chaque sonate possède une atmosphère particulière. L’Andante religioso est le second mouvement de la Sonate n° 4. La structure est légère et empreinte de poésie. La beauté du tissu musical réside dans la pureté et la puissance évocatrice de la ligne mélodique.
