So begins And The Angels Sing, one of the greatest pop ballads of the 20th century. Adapted from a Yiddish fraylich (freilich, a cheerful upbeat Yiddish folk dance) by big band trumpeter Ziggy Elman as "Fralich in Swing", the stunning lyrics by Johnny Mercer were added slightly later.

This swing arrangement would be great for receptions, and maybe even as an upbeat addition to wedding prelude music!
