Two beautiful traditional tunes, Arirang and Amazing Grace, are paired by Blanche Marie Lewis for a lovely, flowing, melodic line. Arirang is a traditional Korean tune and is believed to mean beauty, harmony, or unity. Amazing Grace was written by John Newton in the 1700s expressing the grace and peace he received when he became a Christian.

Both of these songs are based on the pentatonic scale which has a very natural and wholistic tonality. Their beauty flows from one melody to the next in this arrangement. This unaccompanied, 6-in-hand bell solo is appropriate for many settings - weddings, concerts, worship services, funerals.
