It's a fairytale song about summoning the lady of the sea with a golden fish and a silver bell, with literal bell tones written in for the choir to sing. Think "carol of the bells", but as brazilian folk mythology.
I transcribed this arrangement as best I could from the original recording. Tho it's written SAAA, you could definitely have a mix of Sopranos, Altos and Tenors singing the parts instead. Especially since the highest parts are in unison and could be sung down an octave if needed.
The range for each part (when they split into harmony) is at the beginning of the score - you can see the ranges are only about an octave each.
For English speakers, the pronunciation of the words is unintuitive and *not* like Spanish pronunciation (e.g. "Tesouro" sounds like "ji-so-ru" and not "tesoro"), so you'd best be served listening to the original while following along with the lyrics.
Uma canção bossa nova divertida e cativante, com muitas partes em uníssono para dar sustentação ao coro, mas com ocasionais divisões jazzísticas que são ótimas para cantar. É uma canção de conto de fadas sobre invocar a dama do mar com um peixe dourado e um sino de prata, com notas de sino escritas literalmente para o coro cantar. Pense em "Carol of the Bells", mas com elementos da mitologia folclórica brasileira.
Transcrevi este arranjo da melhor forma possível a partir da gravação original. Embora esteja escrito em SAAA, você pode usar uma mistura de sopranos, contraltos e tenores cantando as partes. Principalmente porque as partes mais agudas são em uníssono e podem ser cantadas uma oitava abaixo, se necessário.
A extensão de cada parte (quando se dividem em harmonia) está no início da partitura - você pode ver que as extensões são de apenas cerca de uma oitava cada.
