Deze mars werd gecomponeerd tijdens de 'Sommerkurse' in de jeugdherberg Schönburg, ter gelegenheid van de verjaardag van bas- tubaïst Erich Keller. Aldaar, hoog in de bergen, werd deze mars voor het eerst vocaal (4 stemmig) uitgevoerd door de deelnemers. Het werk kan zowel instrumentaal, als vocaal of in combinatie worden vertolkt.

This march was composed during a Summer course, organized in the Youth Hostel 'Schönburg' on the occasion of the anniversary of the Tuba-player Erich Keller. It was also premiered over there, high in the mountains. It was sung (in four parts) by all the participants. This work can be played by a band, sung by a choir, or performed by the combination of both band and choir.

Cette marche a été composée lors des Cours d'Eté organisés à l'auberge de jeunesse Schönburg, à l'occasion de l'anniversaire du tubiste Erich Keller. C'est à cet endroit, à très haute altitude, que cette marche a été chantée pour la première fois (à quatre voix) par les participants au cours. Elle peut donc être soit jouée, soit chantée, soit exécutée conjointement par un orchestre et des choeurs.

Dieser Marsch wurde komponiert während eines Sommerkurses der in der Jugendherberge Schönburg anlässlich des Geburtstages des Tubisten Erich Keller veranstaltet worden war. Dort, in den Bergen, wurde dieser Marsch uraufgeführt; er wurde von allen Teilnehmern (in vier Stimmen) gesungen. Das Stück kann instrumental, vokal oder in einer Kombination von Chor und Blasorchster ausgeführt werden.
