This is piano solo arrangement of the contemporary hymn "All My Boast Is In Jesus". This majestic hymn of praise is useful in many situations: preludes and offertories. The first 3 pages are firmly in the intermediate range but it gets progressively more moderately advanced. The the fun 2 against 3 rhythms and other details aim at helping the pianist to best communicate the melody of the hymn. Run time is approx 3:45 but it depends on which performance options are taken.
This setting implements all 3 verses of the hymn– including the bridge– and follows the mold of the Getty's recording, for that reason– though with some modifications– it is possible to use this setting for vocalists as well. 2 performance options: 1) play only the fisrt 2 verses and choruses, or 2) the full version. In addition, 3 Key options are provided: G-F-Eb (G– the original key– is key it was arranged in, some chord voicings/fingerings might need to be adjusted for the alternate keys.).
