Published by Fredrik Schwenk (A0.1022045).Agur spricht was initially written as a contribution to the collaborative composition Agurs Sprüche, a contribution to the third festival of A*DEvantgarde in 1994, and was initially intended as a solo work for baritone. The ensemble Wireworks eventually commissioned the second version of the work for mezzo-soprano and small ensemble. The electroacoustic manipulation of the singing and harp voices was realized by granular synthesis and recorded live by computer.
