Published by Andrew Orgee (A0.1723065).This arrangement of the ever-popular bossa nova by Tom Jobim called Águas de Março (The Waters of March) 1973 is scored for jazz sextet featuring Flute, Clarinet in Bb, Guitar, Piano, Drum Kit, and Double Bass. While I have kept the falling, chromatic patterns of chords in the original song, I have used lyrical and contrapuntal variations of the song's melody to be more idiomatic for woodwind instruments. The lead instrument parts are aimed at intermediate players, as they are quite simple and not too high. The accompaniment parts in the Guitar and Piano are better suited to advanced players who are comfortable with the bossa nova rhythm.
