"Agnes Woolworth's Rooftop Flower Garden" was composed in November of 2019 as my first major work for strings and the culmination of my first year of studies as a music composition major in university. The piece gets its title from an original character I invented for the music: an elderly British lady whose greatest passion is caring for, maintaining, and giving tours of a beautiful flower garden her family has grown for generations. This is one of my personal favorites, a piece loved by musical faculty and many listeners alike, and a great example of my unique compositional style! Enjoy!
