2 styles - ballad and swing. The ballad makes liberal use of rootless chords to contribute to the pensive mood and at the same time to simplify the fingering by freeing the left hand. The
left hand takes the melody in the 3rd "A" section for a different look.
The swing style - in a different key - is a syncopated version of a George Shearing arrangement.
The ending (in ballad form) is reminiscent of the main theme in Tchaikovsky's "Pathétique" symphony.
No repeat sections.
