This ballad from the 1977 Genesis album Wind & Wuthering, frequently performed by the band in concert, is full of the lush, complex chords that are the hallmark of Banks's work with Genesis. This flute choir arrangement tries to recreate the band's gorgeous wall of sound with thirteen parts: six C flutes (two doubling piccolo), three alto flutes, and four bass flutes (including optional contrabass). This arrangement would be perfect for a large group with lots of low flutes, especially if you want to focus on listening, balance, and sound. The parts aren't overly technical, although melody parts in flutes 1 and 2 do require good control of the upper register.
