Utilitarian
I wasn't blown away by the arrangements. As piano solos, they were just a little boring to play compared with other music I have. I kept hearing a sing-along setting, which wasn't what I was looking for. If you are just starting your Christmas piano music collection, this might be the book to get. Solos are about level 8. All pieces are pretty much traditional with enhanced chords and accompaniment.

Hated it!
I should have paid attention to the reviews. I know that some users enjoy this collection. And that's a good thing for them. But I found that the arrangements are trite, unattractive and not very interesting. I don't recommend this collection. There are too many other great collections; why waste money on this one?

Need to see it first...
This Christmas book is OK - BUT - not at all what I was looking for. I really need to be able to see MORE of the material inside a book before I consent to purchase. That's the worst downside of purchasing on-line.

Nice varied collection
I get hired to play Christmas music at parties and other functions. I'm an advanced pianist (have a degree) and am a very good sight reader. I found that there was a lot of interesting arrangements which I have used many times. I especially like Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree because it really rocks! It's a good addition to a set where everything is more or less twinkle twinkle, and I actually had to rehearse it! It's not easy to find interesting arrangements, especially those which don't bore me to death by their simplicity.

Very Disappointed
I was very disappointed with this collection. The arrangements are not terribly difficult to play but are pretty boring, unimaginative and amateurish. I play lots of holiday music as a church musician and there is not one piece in the book that I would ever use. I don't recommend this book and wish I had spent money on any one of the other possible collections.
