I wrote this march over 12 years ago, when I was first getting into composing/arranging, and it was rather too 'busy'. Too many musicians doing too much. So I had another look and made it more playable by bands of a lesser technical aptitude. It is dedicated to all the volunteers, who give up their time, to make the Royal British Legion the steadfast organisation it has become. They truly are the unsung heroes of the charity. I hope this march pays them the compliment it is meant to. There will soon be a brass band version available. Page 2 is a useful advice sheet for printing. I hope your band enjoys playing it, be it on the march or a concert.
Update: 19/02/2025. I have added a Flute part, as the composition was originally created for a marching band, and amended the Baritone Saxophone as it went (I think) out of range.
