"Abundance and Charity (Good Will Towards Men)" is a fast show-tune dazzler celebrating all the good cheer of the season, composed and arranged in the old-Broadway style. The male soloist can appear as himself, or as "Father Christmas, "Santa," or "The Ghost of Christmas Present" as in the original. He is accompanied by a ladies' ensemble, adaptable to all groups.
The Bass Clarinet doubles on Alto Saxophone, or alternatively the English Horn can fill in the Sax. part.
There is an extended dance break, which can be eliminated by observing the cut from bars 137 to 174, already indicated and embedded in the parts.
The number is 5 minutes long, closer to 4:15 with the cut.
