In my view, this is one of the most underrated Christmas songs in existence. The chord choice and soaring melody really pull at the heart-strings, never mind the plaintive words. I've tried to encapsulate some of the orchestration into the piano accompaniment as well. It's very singable, and quite straightforward, but very effective. I really enjoyed arranging this song, and I hope you enjoy teaching it to your choir.
