In 2017, for its 25th Anniversary, Kane and Salonga were reunited, performing with Menken at the piano, in the studio of Good Morning America.
The song was awarded an Oscar for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards in 1993. It also won a Grammy Award for Song of the Year - the first Disney song to receive this accolade.
