For Flute and Bb Clarinet. Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Daniel Dorff. This edition: saddle-wire stitch. Sws. Back To School. Parts. With Standard notation. 48 pages. Theodore Presser Company #414-41199. Published by Theodore Presser Company (PR.414411990).ISBN 9781598062021. UPC: 680160574810. 9 x 12 inches.
Following the popularity of his Three Romances for flute/clarinet duo, and the excitement and demand for his Two Cats for flute/clarinet duo, composer and clarinetist Daniel Dorff has greatly expanded the repertoire for flute/clarinet with a volume of 12 Bach masterworks, adapted to fit idiomatically for intermediate through advanced flutists and clarinetists. The book includes eight favorite Two-part Inventions, Air on a G String, Wachet Auf, and excerpts from The Goldberg Variations and The Well-Tempered Clavier. Ideally suited for any level flute/clarinet duo for recitals or just practice-room duet playing.

I find these to be for advanced players. Not sure if my clarinet player can play them yet, as we have not had a chance to actually play them. Wish I had know this in advance, and might have chosen a different book,

This book of Bach duets includes: Bach Inventions 1-4, 6,8, 9, and 14 Aria from The Goldberg Variations Prelude No. 13 from The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 1 Watchet Auf, Chorale Prelude from Cantata No. 140 Air from Orchestra Suite No. 3 This is a great book to broaden the range of flute/clarinet classical duets. The Watchet Auf is a little thin with just the two instruments -- a quartet version is probably the way to go if you can. What I really wish ALL books would show is the list of pieces they include. At this point I am beginning to wonder what Bach (or Mozart duet) I don't have, and so I'm more inclined to buy a book if it lists the contents. So simple to include that, even if it's an image of an inside table of contents. (If anyone can post the contents of the Mozart duets also arranged by Daniel Dorff, that would be great)
