The fourth piece I wrote for full orchestra. I was age 17. The Delta County Orchestra [Colorado] performed it on April 24, 1973. I didn't have a name for it at the time, so it was listed in the program as "Original Composition". I currently call it "A New Direction" since it was quite a departure from the style of the previous pieces and included piano solos.
