These interactions are only recently returning as we come of out of our pandemic isolation. There are three main sections in the composition. The first section is in G minor and features energetic sixteenth note figures and dramatic trombone glissandi. The B section has an atonal key signature and features dramatic piccolo trumpet solos interspersed with descending waves of sound played by the whole ensemble. There is a brief reprise of the A section at the end. While all our daily interactions are unique, they all follow similar patterns. May this composition recreate some of the joy and sense of community felt daily.
