Our small church choir needed something to perform for Mother's Day. I saw this piece and thought it would be appropriate, however, I did not order it too far in advance and we only had one rehearsal to prepare! I will say, however, it was easy to learn and our choir did a wonderful job performing it. An added bonus is having the words specifically for Christmas and we will probably sing it on the Sunday we celebrate Mary, the Virgin Mother, using these words. Ruth Schram is a talented composer and we enjoyed sharing this tribute to mothers.

Beautiful piece - great harmonies. The sentiment of the words is beautiful but some felt the words were too religious to be multi-denominational.
