Christmas Hijinks
This song is a LOT of fun! I imagine it would be a great piece for a school choir. We used it as a fun piece for our church's Christmas Concert. It's a pretty short (2 minutes long) and spirited jazz shuffle. The fun part? For the second verse, the music indicates that the melody (alternates between the men and women) should be played on kazoo instead of sung. We had the choir hide their kazoos in the sleeves of their choir robes until the last possible second . . . the audience loved it!The piece is short . . . easy to memorize.
