A Goodbye Canon SSA - Digital Sheet Music

Chorus Choir, SSA Chorus - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1736958

Composed by Linda Fox. This edition: pdf. A Cappella, Contemporary A Cappella, Contest, Festival, Graduation, Show Choir. 2 pages. Linda Fox Fairbairns #1298284. Published by Linda Fox Fairbairns (A0.1736958).

The perfect song to end a concert, particularly if you're a visiting choir.

Composed for three equal voices (SSA, but would work equally well for male voices), this canon "at the second" bids farewell to your audience in thirteen different languages, from English and German to Indonesian and even Esperanto!

It's a challenge for your sense of pitch, as each voice enters one step higher than the previous, and it modulates through many keys before the oriental-sounding parallel triads on "Sayonara".

If you're singing it with men's voices, feel free to substitute your favourite sign-offs if you feel "cheerio" and "bye-bye" are a bit girly!

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
