An interesting fact: the melody was actually inspired by Franz Liszt's Transcendental Etude No. 9 (Ricordanza) for piano. This String Trio arrangement begins with the cello on the melody, but it is soon handed off to the violins playing in octaves. This song is a multigenerational classic, because it speaks to the heart of all dreamers: "If you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true.".
