Immediately engaging, this gentle music works wonderfully for weddings, funerals, recitals and general services. It's also a joy to play just for the sheer pleasure of it. Although composed in 1916, the music has a baroque feel from a composer who was a masterful pasticheur. My arrangement is largely in trio form giving it clean lines which work really effectively on the organ.
