These 8 Hymns are a sequens to the well-known 8 Studies in Sound, the 8 Adagios and the 20 Tune Up's by the same composer.They are also intended as warming-up tunesor intermezzi but their main purpose is to gain control of sound (sonority) balance and pitch between the various instruments.
