Telemann Opus 2, Sonatas 1-2
I love these alto duets. Telemann may be my favorite composer for alto recorder duets. They are playable, interesting, challenging, melodic, and mood enhancing. My duet partner and I were surprised when we discovered that our editions, though they were both published by Schott, had variations in the Alto 2 part and so we ended up just sharing her edition so that we were both seeing the same parts as we played. (Her earlier edition also had a fold out third page, avoiding an awkward page turn, which would have been nice). Very happy with this edition.
