Excellent set of technique exercises - and are much more interesting musically than the more popular Hanon.

Warm-Ups
These make excellent warm-ups for advanced students. They have material that isn't for beginners, but it isn't too hard. I'm currently a freshman in high school who has been playing the piano for 11 years and my teacher gave this book to me for warm-ups. I always love Schirmer editions and this is great to warm up on, or even just play.

Heller Studies piano
This is an excellent practice book for students of moderate and up proficiency. I studied from it over 40 years ago and use it to teach my piano students today. The melodies are delightful, short and each piece teaches new elements of timing, chord structure, signature etc.Classical and elegant I still enjoy playing from this book today.
