    Edition not recomended

Purchased for Op 3, number 1. Not recommended due to:- Over-edited: pedaling added, not located in other editions; and the added pedaling is inconsistent for the intent of the piece.- Print errors regarding notation - Important phrasing omitted: in particular the notation at the end makes it appear that there are not enough beats in the measure because the original grouping into triplets was omitted and a bar line was added by the editor which is not warranted and creates less beats per measure than the time signature

    Great edition and fingering

This is great music and yet on the easier side for Rachmaninoff. He wrote these Opus 3 pieces as a young man and many of them immediately became repertoire. I enjoy this edition in particular for its natural fingering. I decided to buy this one instead of a cheaper edition and I am glad I did.
