Most of the (mostly German) song lyrics included can help with learning rhythms. This also determines where to breathe. The second voices are set traditionally, but still predominantly in their own “language.” The aim is to promote the musicians' independence and, in doing so, their ability to listen to each other. A few songs are included multiple times, not only in different keys, but also in different movements. Occasionally, symbolism is “hidden.” Discovering this can be fun and train musical understanding. Dynamic elaboration is part of the arrangement, even though I have not noted any suggestions.
