The 3 by 3 warm-up can be used from the very first string lesson. As the title suggests students
play each string in groups of three, three times. Students can play this exercise pizzicato or arco.
It is a great way to begin learning each open string and great practice for intentionally tipping
the bow to the next string in the bar rest. Suggested verbal instructions from the teacher included
on the accompaniment part.
