Neglected but should be played more
This set of technical studies by Stephen Heller is quite neglected by pianists, pedagogues, and students who tend to favor the more popular works of Moszkowski, Chopin, Mendelssohn, et al. However, if played well enough, I think they are just as appealing and not as technically daunting as the other etudes. I think that they are a good fit for late intermediate students.
